Joseph strives to distill the core of individuals, emphasizing emotion, contrast, and shape. Through his lens, he conveys a myriad lifestyles and daily rituals of people from every corner of the globe. Among the photographers who’s styles he most emulates are Ansel Adams for his sublime landscapes, Dorothea Lange for her ability to capture the human struggle and Yousef Karsh for his uncanny ability to connect visually with his subjects.
